Second Opinions
Dr. Spencer cares about your oral health and wants the best care for you even if you see another Dentist.  We offer second opinions to help you make educated decisions by listening to you about your concerns and explaining the positives, negatives, and any risks associated with the proposed treatment.
Bridges
A dental bridge is a fixed (non-removable) appliance and is an excellent way to replace missing teeth.  Dental bridges are highly durable and will last many years.  There are several types of bridges. You and Dr. Spencer will discuss the best options for your particular case.
Extractions

It is almost always preferrable to save your natural teeth but there are some instances where keeping a natural tooth is not possible.  When there is severe decay, a serious crack, or significant infection sometimes an extraction prodcedure to remove the tooth is the best option.

Gum Disease Treatment
Periodontal disease attacks the gums and the bone that support the teeth.  Not only is it the number one reason for tooth loss, research suggests that there may be a link between periodontal disease and other diseases such as, stroke, bacterial pneumonia, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and increased risk during pregnancy.  Periodontal treatment methods depend upon the type and severity of the disease. Your dentist and dental hygienist will evaluate for periodontal disease and recommend the appropriate treatment.
Veneers
Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile.  Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front and top surfaces of the teeth. They are very durable and are an ideal choice for improving your smile!
Bonding
Dental bonding is ideal for small cosmetic corrections. If your teeth have gaps, chips, or cracks, you may be a good candidate for bonding.  Dental bonding is a composite resin material that binds to your natural tooth.  In most cases, dental bonding can be completed in a single office visit.
Full & Partial Dentures
Dentures are replacements for missing teeth that can be taken out and put back into your mouth. While dentures take some getting used to, and will never feel exactly the same as one’s natural teeth, today’s dentures are natural looking and more comfortable than ever.
Mouth Guards
When a child or adult participates in organized sports, a custom mouthguard can help prevent broken teeth, injuries to the lips and face, jaw fractures and concussions. These mouthguards are durable, stay in place well, are easy to breathe with and can even be made for those wearing braces.
Night Guards
If you grind your teeth at night, you should consider a night guard to protect your teeth.  A night guard is similar to mouth guards worn by athletes.  It provides a barrier between your top and bottom teeth while you sleep.
Oral Cancer Screening
Oral cancer is a real threat that we take seriously. There are many different types of cancer that can afflict the oral cavity. We use a multi-spectral wavelength screening tool called Identafi in combination with thorough examinations to aide in the early identification of oral cancer.
Sealants
Sealants can protect teeth from decay for many years.  A sealant is a thin, plastic coating applied to the chewing surface of molars, premolars and any deep grooves (called pits and fissures) of teeth. More than 75% of dental decay begins in these deep grooves.
